Monoski (slalom)

EVERY DAY FROM 9 A.M. to 8 P.M. • 20 MINUTES

Slalom is one of the three water ski disciplines, amongst figure and water-ski jumping. During slalom, the skier uses a single ski called a monoski and has to go through a 6 buoy slalom while the boat follows a straight line through the channel.

Boat speed goes from 34 km/h to 58 km/h. When the speed is at its highest, the next step to increase complexity is to shorten the tow rope. The aim of the discipline is to go through as many buoy as possible with the shortest rope at the highest speed.

In waterski, curves and speed are the most enjoyable experience.
